Preference window closed

The window for investors to record their preference on the options sent on 19th October 2026 closed on 26th October 2026. AIX thanks every investor who took the time to respond and to speak with their advisor.

The court in the Cayman Islands is due to consider AIX’s restructuring application on 30th October 2026. Once the court has ruled, every investor will be asked whether their preference is unchanged, and may choose differently. Investors existing rights remain unchanged in the meantime.

The next update will be published on this page once investors have been informed directly.

Clarification to investors

AIX Secure SPV Ltd wrote to investors to clarify the nature of the choice requested on 19th October 2026:

  • The choice each investor records is a preference, not a binding decision. There is nothing to sign.
  • Recording a preference does not waive, limit or vary any right an investor holds under their existing contract, and does not release AIX Secure SPV Ltd from any obligation under it.
  • Once the court has ruled, investors will be asked whether their preference is unchanged. They may keep it or choose differently.
  • If the restructuring is allowed, it would be supervised throughout by an independent Restructuring Officer appointed by the court.

Options sent to investors

AIX Secure SPV Ltd sent every investor in the affected Secure SPV programme the same communication, on the same day and on the same terms. It set out the options available for each contract, together with an explanatory document. Investors were asked to record a preference by 26th October 2026, with their financial advisors available to answer questions throughout.

Update to investors

AIX Secure SPV Ltd wrote to investors to explain the background to the affected programme and why it is proposing a restructuring rather than a forced sale of assets in current market conditions. It also gave notice of the detailed options that followed on 19th October 2026. No outcome can presently be guaranteed, and AIX respects every investor’s right to take the course they consider best for them.

Statement from AIX Secure SPV Ltd

Throughout its operating history, AIX Secure SPV Ltd (“AIX”) has built its reputation on its commitment to its investors, employees and business partners, and to compliance with the applicable framework within which it operates. That commitment remains unchanged. A period of exceptional geopolitical uncertainty and significant volatility across global financial markets has affected valuations and investment realisation cycles within a limited part of AIX’s product offering. The majority of AIX’s products and their underlying investments have not been affected, and AIX continues to meet its obligations to investors under them.

AIX’s management remains in place and actively engaged. It has appointed leading international law firms and financial and restructuring advisers to support, including in its communications with the relevant authorities. Following a comprehensive review, measures relating to the restructuring of the affected investments are now being taken forward under the direct oversight of management and subject to the applicable approvals. The aim is to protect value, maintain stability and determine the most appropriate path forward for affected investors. AIX is communicating directly with its investors and will provide them with a substantive update no later than the 12th of October 2026.

AIX thanks its investors for their patience, remains firmly committed to safeguarding their interests, and encourages all stakeholders to rely exclusively on its official channels for information.
